Finding the best survey sites can be very tiring and sometimes frustrating. One review website may recommend a survey site and another review website may claim that same survey site is not legitimate.
So what do you do and how do you tell the legitimate paid survey sites from the bad survey sites?
You can read review after review and still come out undecided. That’s basically where I ended up. So like a lot of people, I started testing them myself to weed out the bad survey sites that really aren’t worth your time.
Hundreds of thousands of people get paid to take surveys so it is a legitimate way to make money. Survey companies are willing to pay for you opinions and there are many to chose from.
Many have said the only way to earn good money with paid survey sites is to sign up for multiple sites and work with as many as you can handle. I agree with that believe. However, I would steer clear of sites like The Survey Club, Take Surveys For Cash or any other ‘survey’ membership that requires you to pay a fee. These sites are known scams. Their claims like ‘Make $50 for a 10 minute survey’ are ridiculous and dishonest.

I’ve made money with these paid survey sites. Although it’s nothing to jump up about, it’s still money that I earned and was able to use at my discretion. Not all paid survey sites pay by check, or PayPal. Some pay with gift cards and e-vouchers. I personally prefer check or PayPal.
Paid survey sites usually offer more ways to earn money other than just completing surveys. Other options allow you to read emails, watch videos, sign up for free and paid offers for additional earnings and complete easy tasks. Some paid survey sites provide you with a referral link so you can make money from people you invite to join. Your referrals have to be active on the paid survey site in order for you to make any money from them.
Demographics Are Important
You will need to complete a profile for each paid survey site. Your profile will include your demographics. Demographics involves your age, gender and other details about you. It is important to complete your profile so the survey site will know what surveys to offer you. One of the drawbacks of some of the survey sites is that you first have to qualify for each survey. Some sites require it and others don’t. Don’t let that scare you away from signing up from any particular site.

Some of these paid survey sites will require you to qualify for the surveys and others will not. For example, Paid Viewpoint, does not require you to qualify for a lot of the surveys however you do not make as much per survey. Regardless of the activities you perform, both sites pay like they are supposed to.
You will not have any out of pocket expenses just for signing up and trying them out. So, if you decide not to continue with one, you always close your account and unsubscribe to any email lists. All are free to join.

I mentioned previously that you should read the FAQ, but I strongly recommend reading the Terms & Conditions for each site you decide to join so you understand the member requirements. The more you know going in, the better your chances of success will be.
Remember, if you sign up and decide it’s not for you, you can simply cancel your membership and unsubscribe to any email lists you might have joined.
