Are You Being Duped By Fake Earnings Reports?

Using Fake Earnings Reports Is An Unethical Marketing Strategy

Are you being duped by fake earnings reports?  If you are like many people, earnings reports can play a role in deciding whether or not to join a business opportunity or promote a product.  After you see the video below, you might want to think twice about the authenticity or credibility of earnings reports.  I am not impressed when I see these types of images.  You shouldn’t be impressed either.

Example of a Fake Earnings Report:

Fake Earnings Reports

I was looking for tips on ways to promote JVZoo products.  I came across a video on YouTube about how someone made over 1 million dollars in one day on JVZoo.

If you’re not familiar with JVZoo, it is an affiliate website that does offer some really good products like software, digital products and other business related tools. I’ve been pretty satisfied with the products and I love to promote them.

Affiliate Marketing Is A Viable Earning Opportunity

It’s possible to make a very good income as an affiliate marketer, but making a million dollars in one day is more than little far fetched. The screenshot in the video below was from the actual JVZoo site. Although skeptical, I really wanted to hear what the guy had to say about his massive success from just one day.

The video explains the truth and how he made his JVZoo affiliate snapshot look so attractive.

Always Be Cautious

Now you can see how people are being duped by fake earnings reports. I have never used an earnings report to promote a product or an affiliate network. I did a video to show that I received a payment by check from a website I occasionally use to make extra money.  The check wasn’t much, but at least it was the real deal.

I do not understand how people can knowingly lie and mislead people.  It’s definitely something to be on the lookout for when you see a promotion.  After seeing the video, I will not be impressed when I see someone using their earnings report to promote a product or a business opportunity.  It will now be a red flag to be very skeptical.  We can add this to the black hat methods or misleading marketing strategies being used by a lot of Internet Marketers.

Another example to be very cautious about is when someone displays an image of a bunch cash, claiming they made it selling a product or through a business opportunity.  Even if the person doesn’t have the cash to take a picture, there are plenty of money and cash images available online.

It’s not just JVZoo earnings reports you need to be weary of.  Google Adsense, Amazon, and Clickbank earnings reports can be manipulated as well. Really, anything online can be manipulated by a few simple code edits.  Unfortunately, a lot of sales pages use the earnings reports screen shots as a marketing ploy.

Another thing to be aware of, is multiple people using the same earnings reports to promote an opportunity.  I have seen that a lot of social media sites like Facebook.  If you see people using the same image, I recommend you stay away from those people.

Many websites and programs have a ‘Dashboard’.  It is shows a member’s account activity.  I’ve seen people try to use those a payment proof.  Do not be fooled by those either because quite often those do not prove that an actual payment was received.

So the next time you see someone using the tactics I described above, be cautious and skeptical.  Chances are, they are not legitimate.  Google images is full of earnings reports.  Someone can download one and use it for their promotions.  This is one area where you should be very skeptical.
