Weed Out The Bad CPA Offers
Taking the time to weed out the bad CPA offers can save you and your followers a lot of time and frustration.
Diet & Fitness CPA offers are very tempting because the niche’ is so popular. I made the decision not to promote CPA offers related to diet and fitness because so many of the products just don’t work.
Most supplements are not effective and some can be harmful. There is plenty of information available about supplements. If you chose to promote products related to diet & fitness products, I suggest you do a lot of research or try the product first to make sure it is effective.
The FTC is taking a lot of interest in the diet and fitness industry because the claims companies are making are often not true.
Always, research the product for a CPA offer before promoting. Yes, it will take extra time, but in the long run you will glad you took that time and it could save your reputation if you see a lot of bad reviews about a particular product.
I recently became very interested in promoting CPA offers for toolbars and downloads. I even joined a few more CPA Networks because of their downloads and toolbar offers.
After researching several offers, I was very disappointed to find information online about them having malware and viruses.
Honesty & Credibility Matter
When promoting CPA offers, be honest and do not claim something to be ‘free’ just to gain interest. ‘Trial’ offers usually require a credit card. Sometimes, you will be charged even though it is a trial.
Ex: credit score websites
Avoid ‘Blackhat’ marketing tactics which are usually dishonest and misleading. They often violate the terms and conditions of the CPA network. If you violate a CPA Network’s terms & conditions, your account can be suspended.
There are several CPA networks to choose from, but regardless of which ones you join, be prepared to stand behind what you promote and do the necessary research.
CPA Affiliate Marketing Training
There are also a lot of training products and videos tutorials available online. Look at the date the training was posted. If it is more than a few years old, the information may be outdated.
Check out the reputation of the person who developed the training. Don’t get involved with the wrong people who encourage blackhat marketing strategies and promoting bad CPA offers. They can steer you don’t the wrong path.
